The sky last night showed Luna with Saturn.
High up in the sky, Jupiter hung right under the lion. Here is the planet flanked by two of her moons, Io and Europa. The photograph below was made with the same 180mm f/2.8 lens tht I shot the dog show with.

Julie at Sexy Magick will not be blogging for a weeks or so, because she is moving. Good luck with your move Julie!
Brigitte, the Matron, on the other hand hasn't blogged for about a month 'cause she's a lazy arse*. (But I say that in the best possible way Brig.)
I'm gonna try to get back into the swing of it all, and post more often. No promises, but that is my intent.
* arse is what the British say for glutamus maximus. I think it's funny.
Wine recommendation
Beaulieu Vinyards 2001 Zinfandel from Napa Valley (not to be confused with the similarly named wine from their costal vinyards) has a body, structure and fruitfullness to stand up to wines much older and more expensive. At $17 a bottle from your grocery store, this wine ain't cheap, but once you taste it, you'll put it into the bargain category. Structured tannins suggest a Rhone varietal, while the rich currant (ok, maybe sundried cherries are in there too) fruit shouts 'California!'
Pair it with braunschweiger on Triskets like I did.
