No more outages since we installed the new firewall (a SonicWall unit)! It is looking likely that that's all it was, not a problem with our code. Which will make life MUCH more pleasant for us than it might have been :) Meanwhile working on more improvements to EM, focusing now on: A way to provide a simple queue of things people can do where they have the most opportunity to earn points (and to most effectively help the community filter the recommendations; the two things coincide in very fundamental ways in our system design).
A way to get improvements to recommendations to replace the old version more quickly. |
