My company, Transpose, LLC, received confirmation yesterday for a $99,000 grant from the NSF.
This is very exciting to us because in a very real sense it means we have our first paying customer: the U.S. government. We'll be using the grant to expand the mathematical foundations of our knowledge discovery technology -- and the government gets an automatic "paid up" license to any patents that come out of the work. |
