Who's Manipulating Who? A cracking story from Michael Lewis in the New York Times (free registration required), about the youngest person ever prosecuted for stock market fraud. He argues persuasively that the S.E.C. persecuted 15 year old Jonathan Lebed for doing exactly what brokers and analysts do from dawn till dusk - hyping stocks. I can't let Michael Lewis' name come up without recomending his book, Liar's Poker, written about his experience working on Wall Street and in the City of London.
