Supreme Court Steal Salon review of two new books on the US Supreme Court's controversial (to put it politely) decision when it handed the election to Bush. Two new books make it clear that the Supreme Court's notorious Bush vs. Gore ruling wasn't as bad as it seemed at the time. It was worse. Brian and Tom's Linux Book These guys wrote a book on Linux for a major publisher which then promptly cancelled the project. So they've published it online free, bless'em. It deals with Caldera's Open Linux and the KDE desktop, as well as more generally applicable stuff about the command line, system security, and tools like Samba, Sendmail and Apache. 1:48:16 PM
