Once a Monopolist...
Microsoft again pushing and breaking through the absolute boundaries of acceptable behaviour. This time they're not only screwing with the digital imaging minnows, like Kodak, who have the temerity to offer their own software, but are set to charge a per photo fee to processing companies on the net, for the privilege of servicing users of the Windows XP operating system. This may yet come to form one of the cornerstones of the anti-trust case to be considered by the new (non-Jackson) lower court.
The Future of Comics
If you still think of comics exclusively in terms of Batman and Spiderman, you've some catching up to do. Scott McCloud is in the vanguard, and he his I can't stop thinking shows the elegance and wit possible, with his reflections on what is, and what will be possible on the web. (via Robot Wisdom)
