Peter Drucker, (The Economist - "The Greatest Management thinker of all time"),at 90, still has sharp insights to offer on the new economy, particularly its effects on education and corporate management:
The center of gravity of higher education is already shifting from the education of the young to the continuing education of adults. Skills in business used to change very slowly... Socrates was stone mason. If he came back to life and went to work in a stone yard, it would take him about six hours to catch on. Neither the tools nor the products have changed.
