I'm Waching the last race of the season. It is interesting, but irrelevant for the championship. What will happen next year? More rule changes are easy to predict. But here is a Bold bet: Montoya and McLaren will continue to be missing in action as Williams and Renault improve somewhat. Ferrari will win again, bur not as easy as the last few years...Alfredo

 As I took a nap to digest the hearty meal at Casa Pakea yesterday, two dogs and a little girl (see picture) approach me, the girl must have been barely 5 years old, but her sagacity and thoughtfulness brought tears to my eyes. As I caressed the dogs, the following dialog ensued:
Girl: These are my dogs... The small one is a female, her name is Tata, the other is her dad.
Me: They are very nice. does the dad have a name?
Girl:Yes, but I don't remember it.
Me: Ok. Do you know what breed they are?
Girl: Sure I do!... But I don't remember it.
Wish I was that birght...

Yesterday was a Big Party day for me. For lunch we went up the magical mountain of Caracar El Cerro el Avila and ate at Casa Pakea a wonderful basque restaurant up there, in order to celebrate my sister birthday. At dusk we came down and I went home to a party thrown to celebrate my friends Soledad and Sumito's birthdays that both occurred during the previous week. Not to many pictures, all taken with my Nokia 7610, that is why there are more during the day than at night, when flashless picture taking obtains not so good results.
