Before I am accused of being partial, here is the account from F1-Live. Lap 52 and Coulthard pits, handing the lead to his teammate, Kimi Raikkonen. But, Fisichella is all over the back of the McLaren and takes the lead! A Jordan leads in Brazil! Safety car! Huge accident for Mark Webber! The race has been red-flagged! Fernando Alonso goes off in Webber's debris. Webber appears to be okay, but Alonso is in pain. Will the race be restarted? No, it's over 75% completed?.Fisichella wins! What a result!!! In Jordan's 200th GP the Italian driver takes the win! Jordan must be so relieved as Fisichella's car is in flames in pit lane!
Alonso's accident was huge, and the Renault driver is injured and carried off on a stretcher. He gives the thumbs up though as he is put into the ambulance. Officials finally declare the result, and Fisichella isn't the winner, Kimi Raikkonen is! They have taken it from two laps previous when Kimi was leading, not Giancarlo. What a blow to Jordan and Fisichella!! They are devastated after the euphoria at the thought of their first win since 1999.
Raikkonen wins, Fisichella second and Alonso is third, however the Renault driver won't be on the podium. What a way to end what must be one of the most exciting races in several years.
I will not post F1 news in my home page for a while... I may retire this weblog...

Let me make this as clear as I can. Fisichella passed Raikkoinen on lap 51, the crash was on lap 52 and the race was stopped on lap 53. They declared the end of the race, arbitrarily, on lap 51. If anyone can make any sense out this, please let me know. I am considering retiring this weblog...

Fisichella didn't win. He was first when the race stopped, but not on the previous lap. So I guess the race was post-cancelled or something... This sport is really turning into crap.

Weber is also Ok. Alonso was taken to the Hospital, but he seemed alert. By the way, he arrived third, but won't take the podium...

The race ends in tragedy and is stopped! Fisichella wins. Alonso seems to be badly hit, but will survive I think. I'm not sure about Webber...

Barrichello passed Coulthard for first place and then stopped. His bad luck is amazing. McLaren has the lead in the best and more estandar race so far, besides the rain. Good for them...

Six or seven, including Schumacher, Montoya, and Button, drivers have gone out in the same spot where Firman lost his front wheel. There must be oil in the spot...

The race is really boring now, but is not the fault of new rules, but of rain, a radnom event that has always plaged/entertain F1 fans... They started with the safety car and are still running behind it...
