Despite a fire and problems with the pit stop, Michael Schumacher wins and Ferrari almos makes a 1-2. The new rules are still making the races boring (Why did Alonso started in the last places?), but now it is clear they are failing their aim (to reduce Ferrari's domination). We are seeing interesting things, though. The advantage of a complete developer seen in Ferrari, Renault and Toyota. Lesser teams falling into the new rules figuration trap (putting little gas at the start to get a good position, but forgetting the real competition in the race), like Sauber. We are seeing the problems in Williams reflected in a criticized chasis, an engine that can't be criticized (by contract), but keeps failing, and a better driver (Ralf Schumacher) put down by a more commercial less efficient driver (Montoya). Will they get their act together? Right now the competition is between McLaren and Ferrari with a little bit of Alonso thrown in for good measure.
