SCOTUS To Hear Patentable Thought Case. [Slashdot]  This is one of those places where non-scientific conceptions about the nature of thinking and cultural myths about intellect could be avoided if scientific psychology is allowed to become part of the case.  Legal/cultural conceptions of the mind and how it works are quite at odds (and about 100 years behind the times) with recent research and established theory of mental processes. -- BL
