The cost of babysitting / RU George? / Harry Potter's scar There's been a cost of living study published, with New York as the base city scoring 100 points, Blantyre (it's in Malawi) scores 29.3 points compared to the world's most expensive city, Tokyo, which is more than four times costlier, scoring 134.0.  In May 2001 the hourly babysitting cost in Tokyo was $US 15.67 !!
