It's been a long time since my last blog update. I had a really tough time at work so I kind of forgot about my weblog. Any way, during Christmas I went to see two films, LOTR: Two Towers and Bowling For Columbine. You probably don't need me to tell you about LOTR, it is a great epic film which most of you will enjoy. Fortunately it doesn't follow the book as faithfully as the first LOTR film. Sorry Tolkien's fans but I read all three books and it is impossible to make a film that follows closely the books story and style without making it very long and eventually boring. Bowling for Columbine is a documentary by Michael Moore about the gun violence in the US. If you are an American go see this film, you might disagree with what it says but it will make you think about your country's 'sum and substance' and there are not many films around these days that can do that
