Just finished watching “capturing the Fredmans” on DVD. It really is a documentary about truth and how difficult it is to find it. The director Andrew Jarecki leaves the audience to make there own mind about what happened. At the end even if you think that you know who is and who isn't guilty there is still a great deal of doubt. It is also a film about memory, how people really choose to remember things and how memories change as we grow and have different experiences. It is a truly captivating picture and I would suggest viewing the DVD edition, which has some really interesting extras. |
