Rain - It rained last night. It was so nice to hear the pitter, patter of falling rain drops on the tin roof of our home. There is something very soothing about the sound of rain - although the trickling of water into the tank invoked an entirely different state.

All in all though there wasn't much of it. We don't have a weather station here, but according to the Bureau of Meteorology, just 1 mm of rain was measured and reported by the Automatic Weather Station in Casino.

The result this morning is a beautiful misty dawn.
