'Green Gables' musical goes on without co-creator
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Charlottetown Festival. It also marks a milestone, albeit a sad one, for the production that has become synonymous with the festival: Anne Of Green Gables - The Musical. The summer of 2004 is the first time that the production has been mounted since the death of the show's co-creator, Norman Campbell. Campbell passed away in April.

Review: DVD Studio Pro 3
“The attraction to Apple’s DVD Studio Pro for me is threefold: ease of use, flexibility and power,” David Nagel writes for Digital Producer magazine. “These three factors came together in one tight, highly intuitive package known as DVD Studio Pro 2 last year, when, for the first time, we gave the program our rare Must Buy recommendation (a first for any DVD authoring system). Iraq war 'waged on false intelligence'
· Committee lambasts CIA and Tenet · President's role to be assessed later · Senator: Bush team overplayed threat [Guardian Unlimited] The committee's vice chairman, Democratic senator Jay Rockefeller, went a step further today, telling reporters: "We in Congress would not have authorised that war, we would not have authorised that war with 75 votes, if we knew what we know now. [snip] Tragically, the intelligence failures set forth in this report will affect our national security for generations to come," Mr Rockefeller said.
"Our credibility is diminished. Our standing in the world has never been lower. We have fostered a deep hatred of Americans in the Muslim world, and that will grow. As a direct consequence, our nation is more vulnerable today than ever before." What's absurd about all this is that slmost everyone outside the US and surely some inside new all of this all along. None of this is news. Intelligence agencies failed but I blame the Bush administration and the morally bankrupt media in the US.
