CBC Toronto - Heat wave staying put
The heat wave baking Toronto is expected to last another two weeks, according to Environment Canada.
Temperatures will sit solidly in the mid-30s all week, and Toronto public health officials have upgraded Sunday's Heat Alert to an Extreme Heat Alert.
The city has opened four cooling centres. An Extreme Heat Alert is called when there is an extended period of excessively hot weather and the likelihood of weather-related mortality exceeds 90 percent.

Sonic Studio Takes Over Philips ProTech DSD & SACD Products
Sonic Studio has announced that they are taking over ownership of the ProTech line of recording studio DSD and SACD hardware and software tools from Philips. ProTech is a division of the Intellectual Property & Standards (IP&S) group at Philips operation in the Netherlands.
