Missing
And now I miss news, music, analysis, essays, and I even miss snarking at certain CBC radio people who irritate the hell out of me. I've tried listening to local commercial stations but the inane commercials drive me crazy--I don't need more marketing pap in my life. I need a fix of intelligent sound.

Where's Peter??
I want my CBC, dammit, I want my This Hour Has 22 Minutes, and Rick Mercer's report and The Nature of Things. I want the dinnerhour news as read by Ian Hanomansing, not that piped in BBC package with the UK soccer scores. I want earthy, serious reporters in a sweaty shirt and sensible shoes, not hairspray and designer shoes and frosted eyeshadow. I want news reports by *Canadian* reporters, not clips from US-affiliates edited to look as if they were created for the Canadian market. I want new and exciting documentaries that I haven't seen twice already that are being aired to fill in time. I want news coverage that expands beyond Toronto's city limits. Sweet Jesus H. Christ, I want hockey with colour-commentary - how the hell are we supposed to know what's going on with all the news rules being implemented this season if there's no play-by-play coverage???
