Patience
It's been a long wait for SonicStudio to get a replacement for SonicHD out the door. And we'll have to wait a while longer. The great news is that things are on their way. B.J. Buchalter of Metric Halo has been active on the Sonic Mailing List and very forthcoming and honest. Here's a snippet from an email he wrote today.
"All I can say about this is "stay tuned"; in particular Sonic has announced
products that will support this application (24 channels of AES 192k Single
wire on Firewire). No Format converter or ADAT required. But you will still
have to wait a little bit, so if you have an immediate need you'll have to
look elsewhere."
