Yup. If you can afford it you can have it all. Of course if DVD had fulfilled it's initial promise we wouldn't be in this mess and we'd all have inexpensive players which would play any DVD. Sigh.

Ugh. Let's hope this is a post 11 Sept reaction. The poll was done before the release of the census that made it clear we have to encourage immigration. My family were immigrants once, even if they came (via the US) from England in the early 1600's.

Our population as a whole would be declining if not for immigrants. So we need more. But most of them go to the main urban centres where population is growing. The entire country gets just under a quarter million a year and half of them come to Toronto.

From Canada, the Greek-born composer has reaped a world of acclaim.
