Jonathan Lu, a Canadian studying at Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H., wrote to The Globe and Mail to express his rage at the way students at the college treated the news of the loss of Canadian lives in Afghanistan.
"Although some have expressed sympathy and feel ashamed at the incompetence of the military, by far the more common reaction is to treat it as a joke," he wrote.
