It was the worst of times, it was the best of times While it was a very grim year for the Canadian publishing industry, our authors basked in unprecedented international recognition, writes SANDRA MARTIN [The Globe and Mail: Arts]

 < 2:45:44 AM>.

Arts: "Canadian classical musicians who went big in 2002 included pianists Naida Cole and Marc-AndrÈ Hamelin, cellist Denise Djokic, and soprano Measha Brueggergosman.
