Impromtu telethon raises $250,000 for Badger relief
Residents of Badger said a collective "thank you" to their fellow
Newfoundlanders on Wednesday night. Just days after their town was
destroyed by water and ice, an impromptu telethon has raised hundreds of
thousands of dollars for the relief effort.
