Syria told U.S. Canadian wouldn't be tortured:... < 1:25:34 AM>.
Syria told U.S. Canadian wouldn't be tortured: Ashcroft
The United States says it deported Maher Arar to the Middle East only
after being assured that the Canadian man would not be harmed by Syria.
F U L L S T O R Y [CBC News] Who the hell is Ashcroft trying to kid? Two weeks after the moron, aka Ashcroft's boss Bush, stood up and denounced Syria as a country that tortures people Ashcroft tries this spin? They sent him there specifically because they knew he would be tortured and they thought they'd get some info out of him. And our naive government never believed our US friends would do such a thing to one of our citizens.
MSO hall: minister wavers < 12:30:42 AM>.
