Airplane politics < 12:18:29 PM>.
On the plane last night I lucked out and got the middle seat between a couple from Canada, and they wanted to sit together, so I got the aisle seat and this morning my back feels just fine. We talked about US politics and eventually it turned to Bush-bashing, and they wondered if there were any Republicans on the plane because we were talking really loud. A white-haired woman in the seat in front turned around and passed back a political cartoon which seemed to say Bush was the right choice. I said I don't understand, does this mean you're voting for Bush? She just wanted us to know there are "other points of view." I handed it back and said I know, half the people are voting for Bush. Then I turned to my Canadian friends and said "But I have no respect for them." Seriously, if you vote for Bush and he wins, we're going to blame you for what happens in the next four years.
