Masaoki was happy that Shinobu and Taro were here tonight. He was worried that he would have a private lesson again this week because Mutusmi and Tomo were both absent.
We talked about the advice you would give in different situations to people who were visiting Japan. For some of the situations it was a little difficult because you have never been a visitor here. There are so many things you take for granted in your daily life, but a visitor will be surprised and not know what to do.

Welocme Kimiko! Kimiko was copying down the address for the site today because she is learning how to use the internet from her husband. I am sure you will do okay and be learning all kinds of new things from the web soon.
Mayumi was back today and had good news. She is pregnant and the baby is due in the spring. She is busy at work because she has to train her replacement. She will keep working until January. Yoshie also had good news. Her son came back from New Zealand. He was there going to high school.

Both Mika and Isamu came to the events on the weekend. They both said they had a good time and enjoyed Hatakeyama-san's lecture.
