Hitomi had some bad luck over the weekend. She got some food poisoning from some oysters she ate. She was sick all weekend. Saeko was also sick last week. She had a sore throat and runny nose. Shizuko had a good time at her riding club's Halloween party, but most of the weekend she had to work.
Next week the homework is to write sentences about what you were doing when a major event happened. Also look at the pair exercise on page 63 and make sure you understand the instructions. Don't do the exercise.
