Tokachi Plaza

Evening

Several people were sick tonight, so we had a smaller number than usual. We did get good news tonight. Yoko said that Noriko (she was in the class last semester) told her that she was pregnant.

We continued working with adverbs of frequency and people seemed to understand how to use them. The homework for next week is to use them and write sentences about the schedules of people in your family.

Morning

We talked about describing clothes, color and pattern, today. No one seemed very interested in fashion in the this class. If you would like to learn about the different color names that are being used go to Lands End or L.L. Bean. Looking through the pages on those sites you will see that they just don't use red, blue or yellow anymore.

If you look over on the side of the page you will see a new link to the The International Children's Digital Library. This site will provide you with children's books from all over the world. This will be a good place to get some English reading materials.
