People had pretty quite weekends. Yasuhito put up Christmas lights in his yard and he said it looks really nice. In the morning class we talked about the wordillumination because someone had been to Sapporo to see the White Illumination. I checked on the web and there were many links, but the word wasn't used in the same way.
Two other people went to see the Harry Potter movie on the weekend and they all liked it a lot. Atsushi told everyone they must see it.
The homework for next week is to write sentences about your partner using the information you got from the interview. Also do exercise 1 on page 68.
Morning
We continued practicing how to describe clothing. There were a few misunderstandings about plaid and checked, but people had it sorted out by the end of the class.
I am been doing a little test this week. At the end of class I ask how many people have started working on their New Years cards to see the reaction. In every class people give a big sigh and say "no>" . I think everyone likes getting the cards, but no one likes writing them.
