This class also had the same worries as the other two classes. Except there a few that the other classes didn't have. When we practiced the conversation again Sachiko used a real example. She had to move recently and during the move she had an argument with her brother. The sofa that she had bought was too big and would fit through the door. He tried and tried, but couldn't get in the apartment. He wanted to know why she didn't check the size.
The homework for next week is to write 5 sentences about things you strongly believe. Follow the examples in the book.

Small number today, but this is the busy season. The homework was to check how to use a self-service gas station. Mikiko went and tried it and Masako found information on the web ( in Japanese) on how to use them in the States. This site gives an English explanation. I also mentioned that in the state of Oregon it is against the law to have self-service stations. This page gives a little more information.
We moved to Unit 9A and started talking about staying healthy (a good topic this time of year). We looked at several pictures of different exercises and one of them was Tae Bo. No one seemed to know what it was. I wasn't too sure either so when I checked I discovered it was invented by a guy named Billy Banks.
The homework for next week is 2A on page 39. Look over the different and think about why they are good for you. Please add a comment 1:44:53 PM
