We had big news tonight. Kazuko announced that she is pregnant! The baby is due in September, so she will be able to study until the end of the term. She hasn't said if she plans to take a class from April.
Reiko brought a box of the Taco Rice Mix from Okinawa that she told us about at the party. She also brought the recipe for her version of the dish. I will try this mix this weekend and let you know how it tastes. If you have time try the recipe that she gave us.
The homework for next week is to think of 3 places on the north side of the station and think of how you would give directions to get there. It will just like what we did with the map in the book tonight.

Over the long weekend people stayed close to home. Hizaji's wife has been sick so he has been doing the cooking and cleaning. Mitsue went to a hot spring and relaxed. Mitsuyuki went to see the movie Gangs of New York. He liked it. Today was Yoshie's birthday.We continued talking about preferences and we have a better idea of people's likes and dislikes. Use the questions in the book and see how much you have in common with your spouse.
Remember we don't have class next week. The homework for the 31st is to do writing practice for Unit 4 on page 91. Also write sentences about your partner's preferences using the information from the pair work. Please add a comment 3:47:39 PM
