A small turnout tonight. Only Shigeru came, but we also had one observer. We watched the video and then started Unit 10B about volcanoes. You should look it over and make sure to check the vocabulary. Also do the listening activity on page 101 using the CD in your book.

2L

Kiriko bought some books to help her plan her trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. Meiko went to the Obihiro Art Muesum to see the exhibit of illustrations from children's books. She said it was very nice. Yukari went to Abashiri to see the ice floes. She went out on the ice breaker. It was beautiful, but very cold. Kimiko put out the dolls for the doll festival

The homework for next week is the same as the morning class.

There has been a campaign to get people to watch less tv. The way they are doing it by organizing a TV Turn Off Week. This is one person's diary

Mika was back from her trip to Dubai and sounds like she had a great time. After class everyone looked at her photos.

We practiced giving opinions and agreeing or disagreeing. Next week the homework is to write 5 sentences about what you think about t.v. also fill in the information about t.v. programs on the next page.
