Miho and I continued the search for Japanese information on living wills and whether or not they are legally binding. We didn't have any luck. After our failed search we looked at the travel sites for Hokodate. She has lived there for almost 4 years, but there is still a lot she hasn't seen. Please add a comment 6:12:36 PM

We had and observer today and we were wondering what happened to Hideko. She said something about going to Cuba to study salasa, but I haven't gotten a postcard from her yet.

One of the news items today was about the 18-car pile up in Tokokoro on the weekend. I just read this article about a researcher who is trying to solve this problem.
We continued talking about women in the military and Atsuko brought some information about the defense forces in Japan. She quoted the precentage of women in the forces, but I don't remember what it was. In the US it is much higher and you can see the numbers here. Here are some links to some other sites you might find interesting. Please add a comment 5:57:20 PM
