We only have four students in this class, but I think we will pick up more as the semester goes on.

Tonight's topic was the American dream and in my search for information on this topic I came across the The Center for a New American Dream and this article at the National Geographic site. I hope you can come with a good idea for the Japanese dream. I'm really interested in hearing what you think. Hopefully, you won't be too pessimistic.

This class was small to begin with, but now Meiko can't come so it is down to two. Today Yoshie had a business trip so it was only Kimiko. We talked about her upcoming trip to Minnesota and her sons' study plans. She also mentioned that she went to Kiriko's bar a few weeks ago and met Yukari.

This is going to be a fun class. Everyone seems to have a lot of energy and is excited to be learning English. We learned a little bit about each other today. Mai is going to Okinawa this weekend and I am sure she will enjoy the beautiful weather. Hopefully, we won't have anymore snow.
