Once again I am sorry for the inconvenience of caused by the time change, but next week things should be back to normal.
We talked about the homeless situation and read the article. I mentioned the debate going on in San Francisco and this is a link to the group that is trying to change the way that homeless people are treated in that city. It is a very controversial issue now. This site gives a general oveview of the problem in the US. This article about Japan was the most recent one I could find. Most of the other ones were from the mid-90s.

I was right, Tomoko did do a make up class today. When she comes to class it makes it easier to have pairs because we have an even number. Ritsuko and Yosuke were the only people who did something special on the weekend. Ritusko had her son's engagement ceremony and Yosuke went to Sapporo to meet a friend. They had a BBQ on the beach near Otaru. Satoko mentioned that she had hay fever so she often has a runny nose, watery eyes and sneezes a lot.
We started the conversation today and with this one it is very important to listen carefully to what your partners says. I mentioned using the CD that came with your book to try shadowing. Give it a try this week and see how you do.
