People did well on the spelling test today, but I did make a mistake when I wrote February on the board. I forgot the first "r". Tsuyoshi was kind enough to point it out at the end of class.

People did a good job with the homework today. The sentences that you wrote using the vocabulary were very good. It was interesting that after you finished you made sure that your partner knew which ones were fact and which ones were fiction.

This morning Yumiko asked what breaking ball meant because she had heard it on MLB broadcasts. If you want to know more baseball lingo this site has a good list.
We continued talking about adverbs of frequency and instead of talking about just one day we talked about a whole week. It seems no one has a regular housework schedule. As I said in class, when I was young my mother kept of very strict one. I wonder if it was because she didn't have as many household appliances as we do now and everything took longer.
