Sorry I didn't get something posted sooner, but I didn't have a chance on Thursday after the class and then Friday there were some computer problems I had to take care of.
Yukari mentioned the ice cream stamp rally and she said she already had three stamps, but Hideaki has seven already. I love ice cream so I had better hurry and try to catch up. I forgot how long the rally is going to last. Please tell me again next week.
The Duet activity was challenging. The beach rules were probably more difficult than the dorm. Everyone thought that No Fighting and No Baseball would have been rules, but they were wrong. There were some interesting answer to the question about rules that people break. Next week the homework is to do number 1 in the Ensemble section. I looked over your poems and really liked them.Some of the lines really projected a wonderful image. Some were sad and others very vibrant. We may do an exercise similar to this in the future.
In our continued work with sizes and clothing a question came up about the average dress size for American women. In looking for an answer to this question I came across this site about Marilyn Monroe and her dress size. A couple sites that I looked at said the average size was 14, but most fashion models were a size 8.
I got a little ahead of myself today with the word order of adverbs. We will work more with that in Unit 4.
