I was a little worried at first this evening because only Kentaro, our new student, was here, but Fumio showed up and a short while late Yasuko came. We didn't have a chance to check the homework, so send it to me by e-mail if you have it finished.
We used the article as a listening exercise tonight. I read it twice and you had to try to answer the comprehension questions. It was a good challenge. This article was from The Atlantic which is a little more difficult than a newspaper or news magazine. For homework look over the words you didn't know and do the vocabulary exercise. This morning's lesson was about prepositions. We will continue to work with them for the next few weeks. The homework for next week is to do the Language Check. If you want more practice with prepositions go to this site Also listen to the About You section on the CD and answer the questions.
In checking the homework we discovered that Mai and Akiko have similar schedules. They both go to bed very late, but Akiko gets up much earlier than Mai. Junnichi was very surprised by their schedules. Please add a comment 10:22:05 AM
