News Flash: Yukari has almost caught up in the ice cream stamp rally. She is only one behind Hideaki. Sachie hasn't added any in awhile. Kaoru was back after a short break, but Shizuko didn't make it again this week. Hopefully, she can make it for the last class before summer vacation.

Mikiko was on NHK today. She was interviewed two weeks ago after class at the Co-op. The show was about Tokachi bread and a new kind of wheat that they are using. Takahiro was absent today because he had to go to Kitami on business. He will be back next week and will try to a make up the class.
We started the new unit and learned a few abbreviations about apartments. This glossary of apartment renting terms has many more items. The rents in the book seemed really low. I don't think you could find places that cheap in most major cities in the US now. At this site you can search for apartments or houses in cities throughout the US. Give it a try for a city you are interested in.
