Small turnout tonight. I guess it is because summer vacation is so close. We did have Saki here doing a make up class, so that gave us four. She knows Yuta from the Eiken class and high school. She was a year behind him.
We talked about the different sports. Haruko and Kana had similar opinions, but Saki and Yuta were fairly different. It was interestingt that in this class everyone was a tennis player.
The homework for summer vacation is to do the Vocabulary in Detail and the writing exercise. Look at the example paragraph to get and idea of how to do the writing. Please add a comment 6:15:54 PM
My Weekend
Well, the weather forecast continues to be wrong. When I checked last Friday it said that the weekend was supposed to be rainy, but Saturday was overcast and Sunday afternoon was very nice! Even today it is nice, but according to the site I looked at it was supposed to be mostly cloudy today.
On Saturday I got some things done in the morning, but we had guests for lunch so in the afternoon it was eating and talking. Sunday was a leisurely day. I did a little gardening, some house cleaning, but when the sun came out I decided to relax on the deck and read. In the evening my wife and I went to a party for the Obihiro/Seward sister-city program. After that we went to a concert at Wisteria Hall. It was solo performance who played a flute like instrument from South America. I believe his name was Abe-san. It was very nice. He said he will be having a concert in Rikubetsu in August.
