We had two observers last night, Yoshie signed up and Rieko is thinking about it. We got surprising news tonight. Yoshiko is on a three week trip to Switzerland. I guess she is going mountain climbing! It sounds like a wonderful trip. Do you think she will remember send some postcards?

Keiko an Mayu did the homework. They did clean up their rooms and they told their partners where they put things. Maybe I should give this homework once a month. There mothers would be very happy.

The homework for summer vacation is to make a collage of what you did during the break. Use the back of an old calendar and be creative.

There were some interesting excuses for the homework. Mika, who was absent last week, said she didn't know what the homework was because I didn't post it on the website. In saying that she had done the homework!

Both Mika and Mikiko have colds. Mika had hers from last week, but Mikiko got sick after camping on the weekend. Many students have come down with colds the last few weeks.

We finished up this unit and the summer vacation homework is to write about a bad day that you have had. Look at the Solo exercise in the book. Also make a collage about your summer vacation. Just before the end of class Kimiko said how much she was looking forward to seeing the collage that I am going to make. I have summer vacation homework, too!
