I had a big surprise when I stepped in the room today. There were so many people! Usually when I arrive there are only two or three, but today there were seven students. I had forgotten that Hiromi was switching to this class and Yuki was doing a make up class. It is nice having a larger class.
We listened to the tape of the children's story. On the first listening people didn't catch too much and then I read it and people got more. I then paraphrased the important parts and we listened to the tape again. By the third listening people were able to pick out a lot more.
The homework is to read at least one story from the magazine that I gave you. After the break you can tell your classmates about what you read. Please add a comment 8:52:07 AM
Morning Plaza
Another small group this week. Mitsuyuki was back. He missed last week because he went on a trip to southern Hokkaido. A couple of people went to the fireworks . Mutsuko went to Karaoke with friends and sang for eight hours! She said her throat hurt the next day.
We practiced a shopping dialogue and study how to say big numbers. We also talked a little bit about what people spend money on. The homework for summer vacation is p. 73 and I would like you to make a collage about your summer vacation. Please add a comment 8:49:00 AM
