Only a few people remembered to do the collage, but some people did bring things from places they had visited. In this class people did a lot of traveling. Masato went to Italy, but forgot to send a postcard. Yukari (sent a postcard), Maiyumi, and Sachie traveled around Hokkaido. Only Yuki and Misako stayed in Obihiro. I met Misako at the Heigen Festival on Saturday night. She was wearing a yukata, but said she didn't put it on by herself. Here mother had to help her.
We started the lesson on making plans and people worked together to plan a jinkuskan party. There were many good ideas, but people occasionally forgot some important things, like matches, pan or rice balls.
Not having my computer is a real headache. This morning I couldn't remember what I had assigned as summer vacation homework for this class. All that information is in my computer and I can't get at it because of a system problem. The students were kind enough to let me know what they were supposed to have done.
