Almost a full class tonight. Yoshiko was back and it sounds like her trip was really fun. We had a mosquito problem tonight which forced us to use the air conditioner. I think this is only the second time I have used it this year and it is the end of August!
We practiced giving directions and people were pretty good. The new hand sculptures on the north side of the station make a good starting point. I guess I should try to find out the real name instead of calling them the "hand sculptures". If you know please let met know.

Takiko was back today. She said she was busy during the Obon holiday because her son and daughter-in-law were visiting.
Mikkiko brought her homework this week and she had pictures from her trip that she took with her digital camera. They turned out really nicely. My wife and I keep talking about getting a digital camera, but we haven't gotten around to it yet.
The homework for next week is to do the Solo exercise (both parts) and we will start Unit 6 next week. Please add a comment 4:38:55 PM
