Shizuko and Kaoru were back tonight. They both had missed the last class before summer vacation and the first one after it. They both were a little rusty. Last week was beauty parlor week. Five out of the six women in the class got their hair done. Mayumi even had it done twice because she didn't like the way the first place cut her hair.
We practiced the conversation and did the Ensemble. The homework is to do numbers one and two in the Solo section. Next week we will start Unit 6. Please add a comment 8:55:28 PM

The listening exercise was challenging for everyone today. The speed and way of asking questions was very natural. As I said in class using tag questions is much more effective than just using pardon me when you don't understand something.
We haven't seen Kiriko for awhile. I wonder if she has gone on a trip. She often goes on a trip with her staff in the fall. I also need to check on how Yumi is doing. Hopefully, she can come back in October.
