As usual tonight the four regulars (Hiromi, Noriko, Noriko and Reiko) were the first ones in class. It is interesting the order in which people come. After the regulars then Toshi or Mihoko and usually after them comes Miho or Naoko and then Atsushi.
I forgot my textbook tonight, so I was looking over people's shoulders all throught the class. People did very well with the listening practice tonight. I asked you to try to catch a lot more information and you were able to do it.
The homework is to do the Language Check, but check back again next week to see if I come up with a new idea. Remember next week we won't be having class. Yoshie was gone today, but Keiko was back. We continued taking about traveling and the main activity today was planning an autumn color viewing trip for JOY. Both proposals were good with very different in prices and activities. In thinking it over I think I would pick the Hokodate trip over the Asahikawa one. The point that Keiko, Hiromi and Naoko about Hakodate being a good place for JOY's foreign staff to learn about Hokkadio history was a good one. It was also a good idea to fly from Kushiro to Hakodate. The only thing I would probably cut would be the disco!

Morning Plaza
Today was a fun class and a lot interesting stuff came up. We learned that Kaori is a hula instructor and teaches a small class in Obihiro. We also learned that most of the wives in the class are happy when their husbands go on a business trip.Nobody believed me when I said my wife is sad when I am gone. I promised to bring a letter from her next to prove it.
We talked about vacations today and made a list of different types. The homework for next time is to plan your dream vacation. You have two weeks and money is no problem. Remember it is a trip for two and you need to make detailed plans.
