Keiko was really worried at the beginning of class because she thought she might be the only student. People slowly trickled in and we ended up having six people. We haven't seen Mai in awhile, so I hope she can come back for the last two classes.
We started going over past tense. We do the How was your weekend? warm up every week, so people didn't have too much trouble with it.

We heard from Yoshie today and she is very busy with her work so she will be taking a break for awhile. I hope she will keep checking here and will come back when she has a chance.
The homework last week was using the passive voice. I mentioned this link. Don't try to understand everything, but look at the examples and check the drills.
