I heard some sad news tonight. Masato skipped class to play pachiko! :) His wife said that he has a lot of stress now because there is no smoking at school. He needed to play pachiko to relax. He will do a make up class tomorrow.
We talked about people famous Japanese people. And the one example I gave was Kawabata Yasunori, but at first I thought it was Soseki that had won the Nobel Prize.
The homework for next week is to do the Ensemble. You can draw a picture, bring a photograph or cut something out of a magzine. You do need to think about you are going to explain it in English. Please add a comment 9:00:48 PM

We continued practicing how to make apologies and offer excuses. In the reading we did as homework there was the proverbHonesty is the best policy.. This link gives a lot more. Everyone in the class agreed that this proverb isn't the best idea and that occasionally a white lie is a better thing to do.
