We did the Ensemble section and even though some people didn't bring or draw a picture they were able to talk easily for three minutes. The follow up questions from the partners were also very good. We finished up the class with the Solo exercise. In it, it mentioned the Peace Corps. Here is alink to tell you a little more about it. The word earned also came up. It is a good word to know. Remember it is not only related to money.
The homework for next week is to write a biography of a relative or friend. Use the Solo as an example.

It was funny to see everyone's reaction to the Halloween decorations in the class. It is just for this week and next class things will be back to normal. We had one observer today, but this is a large class. She will check the Step 2 ad 3 classes on Tuesday before she makes a decision.
We started Unit 8 but didn't get as far as I thought we would. We will start the Listen In section next week and the homework is Focus In. In talking about plans for the long weekend it sounds like no one has anything special planned. It is time to get the garden cleaned up for winter.
