Mayu, Yuki, and Misako ran into each other on their trips. I guess when you are all on the same circuit it isn't too hard to do. I am surprised how often I run into people I know when I am visiting Tokyo.

I am sure that Mayumi is counting down the days to when her life will go back to normal. I am sure she is putting in a lot of overtime. Hopefully, she won't come down with a cold.

The homework for next week is to answer the three questions that we heard on the tape. For the people who were absent they are:

1. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? Why?
2. If you could go anywhere in Japan, where would you go? Why?
3. If a visitor came to Tokachi what is one place they should go? Why?

We had a full house today! This was the first time this semester. It was good to see Kiriko again. She said she has been suffering from asthma and has had trouble sleeping.

I was surprised by people's answers about what they like to do for fun on the weekends. I thought I would be able to find a site on the internet with information on what Americans like to do on the weekend, but I didn't have any luck. What do you think are the 5 most popular weekend activities in Japan? Post your answers in the comments.

The homework is to do numbers 9 and 10 on page 6.
